Our Energy Champions trainee volunteers have finished their training. They now run regular Energy Cafes in Ilford. These offer an informal, friendly way to give energy saving advice to people struggling with fuel bills. Alongside a cup of tea and a piece of cake, people can talk about the issues they have and are offered and get information on:
Saving energy and money by changing their fuel tariff or supplier,
Taking simple actions to make their home more energy efficient
Financial help they may be eligible to get.
The HEET Project
HEET is a not-for-profit organisation working in the London boroughs of Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Enfield. We help households to:
Save money on fuel bills
Stay warm & healthy at home
Save energy & cut carbon emissions
Young People's Gambling Harm Prevention Programme
The Young People’s Gambling Harm Prevention Programme was launched in 2020 and is the largest programme of it’s kind. Through a partnership between YGAM and GamCare, the programme aims to deliver education, training and support to young people across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as collaborating with other organisations across Scotland. Supported by the Betting & Gaming Council, the four-year initiative will help educate and safeguard millions of young people.
